Rockin’ the Star Spangled Banner

OK…so this version of the Star Spangled Banner by rock band Madison Rising isn’t the traditional version of the National Anthem that we are all used to hearing. But the feelings of patriotism will likely well up inside of you just the same, and I just felt like sharing.

As we watch our Traitor-in-Chief lie his way through another oath to defend and protect the constitution of the United States…let’s all recommit ourselves to do our part to preserve a free America for our children!

  1. I LOVED this! You are right, it wasn’t the traditional version of this song that I love so much, but it was powerful and moving. I will be listening to it again. Thanks for posting this.

  2. I hate screaming guitars. I hate heavy metal music. I hate acid rock music. But I love this rendition of The Star Spangled Banner. I can’t explain it, unless it is the combination of the group’s emotion and the video clips of American experience. Everyone who feels as I do about this rendition should watch it about once a week. Any more than that might become addictive, meaning too tolerant of screaming guitars, heavy metal and acid rock.
